This is the 2015 circulation coin set from the Vatican mint in proof uncirculated condition. It consists of a 20 euro silver coin and 8 standard circulation coins which all have the same technical characteristics on the reverse side. The reverse side is the same for all European countries. The coins obverse depicts the portrait of Pope Francis, sovereign of the State of the Vatican City, as well as the writing “Città del Vaticano” and twelve stars. The chosen theme in 2015 for the silver coin with a face value of 20 euros concerns special moments from the debates and homilies of Pope Francis. This a Euro legal tender coin set and is the 2nd release of the effigy of Pope Francis. The coin set was minted in 10.000 examples.
